St Margaret's Refuge - Documenting Progress (added 16/09/2016)
HELP BUILD THE ST. MARGARET’S FEMALE REFUGE CENTRE, MENDULO, MALAWI.THE REFUGE CENTRE IS THE FIRST PHASE OF A PROJECT TO ENSURE SAFETY, WARMTH AND FOOD FOR SOME OF THE WORLDS MOST VULNERABLE FEMALES. WE WILL EMBARK UPON THIS PROJECT IN JUNE 2016.
Pupils that have visited Malawi and participated on the North Lanarkshire Councils Aiming Higher in Malawi programme have published three books based on diary entries of thier experiences. The books are extremely insightful, beautifully written and illustrated. All proceeds from the books will be used to make a diiference. The books cost £5.00 each and can be purchased from Mr Andrew McKay in school.
